The program was created to support communities through training individuals the proper way to paint a home.  the skills gained by the student gives  them an advantage in finding work with painting contractors.  The program starts with two days of classroom instruction where the students learn the basic of how paint is made and how to use them.  After the classroom, students have two days of hands on painting, working on a project in their local community.  Sherwin-Williams takes on all finances for the 4 days programs spending approx $30,000.
