Abraham Williams, Secretary/Treasurer
Abraham Williams came from humble beginnings as a resident of Phenix City, Alabama. Through persistent hard work, he earned a degree in Business Administration from Alabama A & M University. His dedication to God and his pledge to help those less fortunate than himself eventually brought him to Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he assumed the position of Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Bowling Green. It has been at Bowling Green where any number of valuable life lessons learned by Abraham while growing up began to manifest themselves. The establishment of the “After School Tutoring Program” and the “Welfare-to-Work Program” are but two of the ways’ in which Abraham has chosen to go the extra mile in order to provide help to others beyond that of the housing assistance for which the Housing Authority of Bowling Green was established.
“Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve.” Martin Luther King, Jr. One of the best quotes as he referred all the time.
