NSP
NSP - HUD's Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP-1) is providing targeted emergency assistance to state and local goverments to acquire and redevelop foreclosed properties that might otherwise become sources of abandonment and blight within their communities. The funding is provided throught HUD's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program under the HOusing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. The Housing Authority of Bowling Green was awarded $2,079,57 to purchase and rehabilitate approximately 9 homes and build approximately 5 homes. These homes are located throughout 6 census tracts ( 102, 103, 110, 112 ,113, 117) in the Bowling Green/ Warren County area.
